First 30 seconds analyzed;
The start of the video shows the band in a establishing shot and they appear to be a disused warehouse, the lights are only shown on the back so that they stand apart from the background. To fit with the tempo of the shot various amounts of fast shots and cuts are used of the band playing there instruments. A little while into the song small pictures are flashed up against the screen such as a pixelated image, and a 1940's video of a man talking. There are also pictures of women dancing pasted into the various sections.
The lyrics are;
Brian
Top marks for not trying
So kind of you to bless us with your effortlessness
We'd wait for and so trained and comforted
And I wonder
Are you putting us under
'Cos we can't take our eyes off the t-shirt
And ties combination
Well see ya later Innovator!
Some want to kiss some want to kick you
There's not a net you couldn't slip through
Or at least that’s the impression I get
'Cos you’re smooth and you’re wet
And she’s not aware yet, but she’s yours
She'll be sayin' "Use me"
Show me the Jacuzzi
I imagine that it's there on a plate
you're our rendezvous rate
Means you'll never be frightened
To make em wait for a while
I doubt it's your style
Not to get what you set
Out to acquire
The eyes are on fire
You are the un-forcasted storm
(Brian)
Calm, Collected and Commanding
(Top marks for not trying)
You hit the other story standing
With your renditions and jokes
I bet there's hundreds of blokes
That have wept 'cos you've stolen their...
Thunder
Are you putting us under
'Cos we can't take our eyes of your t-shirt
and ties combination
Well see ya later
The song lyrics itself are a description of a man the band know. He is claimed to be hated by the men but loved by the women. Because he would often use underhanded tactics to gain the woman attension. He is also claimed to not care who he seduces such as the line "I bet there's hundreds of blokes, That have wept 'cos you've stolen their..."
Album poster;

The album cover shows a stark contrast in colour tones. The black background with the white band description and the yellow text for the song title. The font picked as well is a standard graphitti text. This is done because it shows a link to the city indie that has been given rise to in the past couple of years. There are problems however because less familiar people could read the writing weather this is the bands intentions or not is not known.
Album cover;

The album cover shows a row of terrist houses with the lights on just one of the houses. The colour contrast is bleak and dark with the exceptions being the light and font title. The yellow text in the corner is the band name and title of album it is shown in the blank sky. Inside the house with the lights on you can clearly see the wallpaper which is multicolored and psychedelic. This could be a metaphor for the album coming from a normal area but is yet unlike you have seen for years.
