Digipack inside
This is my digipack, i used the image i painted for my poster and album cover to help create this, it helps because it is intertexuality between my products, the resenberlance will be increeased dramactically thus doing this as the band will become associated with the posters.

Video!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3pVMVXn3Rg This is my finished video, it features me singing to the camera the lyrics, the video is unorginal and has been done countless times because of its ease but it links into the playfullness of indie music, it is a majority of close ups which also has it links with the indie branch of music. There are various forms of the music linking to the video such as the drum roll at the start and various others, each clip is also only about 2-3 seconds long which means it is a very rapidly changing video.

Evaluation
In what ways does your media product use, devolp or challenge conventions;
My video does not follow the normal conventions of a indie genre song. There are usually two types of indie videos one that follows a set plot with the singer usually appearing in various shots signing, and a band video which features the band playing there instruments.
My video does not follow normal conventions for a genrea but however is not a new and orgnial design, it is commonly used on more pop songs. There is a lack of visual aids in the song so theirs no direct connection between the lyrics of the song and the music video. The video features me singing to the camera for 3-4 minutues from various positions to help mix up the drama. This basic style of filming is easy to create but very time consuming to edit, because of the lack of movement and orginal designs in the video there must be a range of shots from 1-3 seconds hence making the 4min song a time consuming one to produce.
How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts;
The combinations of the main products and anchillary products are used to screate a entier digigpack combination. There are various links between the the poster and album cover to help increase falimiality between the multiple media.
- The poster and album cover both feature a selection of my art workin witch a eye is looking at the viwer. I painted the eye as a inspiration from a album cover for the band kings of leon and tryed to help the eye stand out effectivly. The colour scheme helps to fit in with the orgnial colour scheme for the products album cover. As the design is very effective in drawing attension to the poster, it also helps to create intertexuality between the products as the user will quickly assosiate the eye design with the band similar to the big brothers eye deisgn.
- There are also many other links between my products such as the font type and list of songs alable on the album ethier though these are nessary in the product it helps to increase familiality between the products.
What have you learned from your audience feedback;
I have learnt a large amount from peer and teacher feedback, whilst painting the image i was reciving various tips from my art teacher to help make the eye stand out more effectivly than the previous ones i did. She also helped me out on the colourscheme stating that blue and yellow is a popular colour contrast that is used worldwide because of its ease and effectivness.
On the video i recived a large amount of feedback, however i have not shown a improved version its because the large amount of peer feedback was during the editing, It was a range of positive and negitive feedback ranging from there needs to be shorter shots and cuts to the fade idea at the end of the each cut.
Whilst editing the digipack i recived very little feedback, but i think it is my best work, it features the eye i painted set out like a pair of eyes with the image then distored in the 2nd sleeve to help create a astheitically pleasing look.
How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning & evaluations;
I used a large amount of media technologies in my constuction and co, such as i used Fireworks for the creation of the album cover and poster, i had basic knowledge of the program but after the end due to a mix of peer and teacher feedback i am confidant in its use, i have learnt how to import various pictures how to distort them and change the lighting on the images.
I also used pinicle studios to edit the film, i had previously used this program in my AS work but i had a limited knowledge of the program because i did'nt really make a effort last year. I have however become very confidant in its use this year because of the large amount of time i have used whilst editing the video. Ive learnt a large amount from it such as transition fades, overlaying of tracks and various others.

Alternate Poster
I received a variety of comments from my fellow pupils and even my art teacher i have modifyed the poster design to be a bit more dark and allow for the text to stand out more. The main reason for the colour change is that it helps the text to stand out more effectivly and easily. The eye is alot more defined as the cheek bones stand out more effectivly, it helps to create the idea of a more rounded face, one of the major disadvantages of this one however is that the nose and alot of the painting detail disappear completly.
